Merkel Says Biden Took Step Closer to Germany on Nord Stream 2 | SOURCE: BLOOMBERG

German Chancellor Angela Merkel has welcomed the decision by U.S. president Joe Biden to drop most of the sanctions against the disputed Nord stream 2 pipeline project. However, Germany and the U.S. continue to have different views of the disputed project, Merkel made clear.
